The Delaware Women‘s Conference Inc. is a non-profit, 501-c-3 organization that strives to be self sufficient through the generation of revenue from Founding Sponsors, Corporate Sponsors, exhibitors, individual donations and paid registrations.

You can make a donation

We have many individuals who contribute from $5 to $1000. These contributions offset some of the conference costs and help to keep the registration costs down. Please consider making a contribution.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Delaware Women’s Conference is to hold an annual statewide conference (the first Saturday in March) for women of all ages, economic backgrounds and lifestyles in the State of Delaware and surrounding areas. We aim to accomplish the following goals:

Over the past two decades we have had Gloria Steinem, Geraldine Ferraro, Erica Jong, Rita Moreno, and many others as our keynote speakers. This year we welcome Mariane Pearl, whose memoir was the basis for the movie “A Mighty Heart,” starring Angelina Jolie.

We print approximately 15,000 brochures annually. We advertise on the radio, TV, and in many print publications. On the day of the conference we offer 42 workshops, 70+ exhibits, and a sit-down luncheon with keynote address. We average approximately 750 attendees. We are the oldest, entirely volunteer driven women’s conference in the country. What does all of this mean to you? It means you have an opportunity to have your organization’s name in front of thousands of potential clients and consumers by sponsoring the Delaware Women’s Conference.

We are changing the look of the conference and adding exciting new sponsorship opportunities. This year our theme, “Women Unite! No Borders, No Boundaries,” is meant to bring together the many diverse cultures throughout Delaware. We plan to bring in exhibitors and presenters who reflect this theme and expand our registration to reflect the diversity within our state. With our new look and expanded target audience, we expect the 2008 Delaware Women’s Conference to be the most successful ever. We want you to have a key role in helping us to accomplish this goal.

We have flexible opportunities for sponsorship which include donation of items (bottles of water with your logo, pens/paper, folders), sponsorship of a component of the conference (ie. Exhibits, Keynote Speaker), or a scholarship sponsorship. We will work with you to best meet everyone’s needs.
