2008 Impact Your Community Award
The Delaware Women’s Conference 2008 Impact Your Community Award is a unique opportunity to recognize one woman who has made a significant contribution to the development and improvement of the Delaware community.
Nomination Criteria 
The Award Review Committee will leverage a blind judging process to evaluate nominees and will utilize the below criteria to select the winner:
Impact:
The nominee should be someone who has made a difference in the lives of Delaware residents.
Involvement:
The nominee is committed and focused on giving to the community and gaining from the experience. Nominations can include accomplishments within an organization(s) or be unrelated to an organization.
Community Needs:
The nominee’s services must address human service or civil needs/issues.
Leadership:
The nominee should have proven success in leading and mobilizing members of the community.
Achievement:
The nomination must reflect accomplishments achieved on a voluntary, not employment basis.
Inspiration:
The nominee should be seen as a role model to others in their organization or community.
